Christmas gifts for skaters

Christmas can be a hard thing to shop for. Especially for Skateboarders because of how we are. Well, this is a skateboarders guide to what to get a skateboarder for christmas! Of course some of it is subjective and wont be a universal thing, but most Skaters will generally want these things. Temu is a decent place to get some cool skateboarding related items for surprisingly cheap. You can use the link below to sign up.

1. Skate Wax

Skateboarding Wax

Skateboarders constantly need wax. It makes the surface their trying to grind on, more slick. So it makes it easier to do the tricks. It's something most skateboarders will use and run out of. It's always as safe option, and it isnt super expensive either. At most it should be like $10

2. Element Flatbar Rail

Element Flatbar Rail

A lot of Skaters would love a rail, but they wont always buy it themselves. The Element Flatbar Rail is one of the best out there that you could buy. The price is the best for what you get and it'll last the longest. A round rail is always an option too, although a flatbar has more options and more skaters will prefer skating a flatbar over a round rail.

3. New Skateboard Deck

Skateboard Deck

Skateboarders can go through a lot of decks. So it's always nice to get a new one. But if you do get a skater a new deck, please make sure it's the right size. The deck size makes a big difference for a skater. A deck usually cost anywhere from $50 to $70. I personally prefer Baker Skateboards, but thats my personal preference.

4. Skate Shoes or Laces

Skate Shoes

Skateboarders go through shoes and laces very fast. Some skaters skate slip on laceless shoes. But if they have laces, you could buy them laces. Just make sure the laces are flat, usually the round laces shred way faster. Usually laces from vans or any other skateboarding brand will last a little longer. Or even better, if you know what shoes your skater likes, you can buy them a fresh pair.

5. Clothing

Skateboarding Beanie

A lot of skaters like skateboarding clothing. So brands from skate companies are always a great choice. It's a good way to support the skate scene as well as rep some of the brands they love. A lot of us have skating related clothing of some sort. You could buy a beanie, hat, shirts, baggy pants or regular pants depending on the style the person likes, and more. There's a lot out there, so there's tons of options out that you can pick from.

6. Fingerboards

Fingerboard

A lot of us like fingerboards too. Their somewhat similar to skating, same tricks and the fingers move the same as the feet would mostly. There's two different options, Tech Decks and actual wooden fingerboards. Tech decks are cheap and good for that. They also have real skate brands and decks which can be cool. As a skater, it's cool to own a mini version of your actual deck. But the second option is actual fingerboards. Teak tuning is a good option, it will cost near $20. Although LC Fingerboards is another one I like. They're prices are also near $20 for a complete fingerboard.

7. Decorations

Thrasher Banner

We all love our bedrooms too, so why not make it more skater-related. A skate brand banner would always be a solid choice. Thrasher and Baker are two companies that make good ones, as well as primitive if your skater likes a bit more anime type stuff. But there's also posters and wall tins and tons of other things. Most of us love this kind of stuff.

8. Thrasher Subscription

Thrasher Magazine

Most of us like Thrasher Magazines. So why not get them a subscription if they dont already have one. It's something that is reoccuring too. It'll cost about $17.50 and it'll come with a T-Shirt as well. They get sent every month and for the price, it's pretty worth it. Most of us that buy Thrasher Magazines, have a collection of them. So it's never a bad gift idea.

Final Thoughts

Skaters are usually pretty easy to shop for. Just gotta have a slight understanding of what we like, and hopefully this article helped with that. Of course, these are just ideas. Some of us might also like different things too. But this is a rough idea of what could work for your skater. Have a beautiful day :)
